Join Your Peers and Higher in Omaha on 11/4-6

Registration for Higher’s Second Annual Refugee Employment Workshop is open!

Join Higher and our cohost, Lutheran Family Services, Nebraska (LFSNeb), November 4-6 to learn even more about refugee employment with peers and national experts.

Click here to read more on our website and find links to register to attend. (You can pay with funds remaining in this fiscal year or add a modest amount to your budget for next year.)

Based on your suggestions, we’ve added some innovative new features, too. You said some of the topics were rushed and you wanted more time to dig deeper.

So, we’ve added an optional third day (Wednesday, 11/04) to focus on Job Development, building on innovations piloted by Colorado and Nebraska. We’re pulling together the job developers and program managers adapting the approach to work best for our clients -and the international expert who is working with them.

On 11/05-06, we’ll offer the broad range of high quality, relevant and interactive sessions you’ve come to expect from Higher.

We’re all still using what we learned in Baltimore last year and keeping in touch with colleagues and new friends we made.

We’re excited to do the same in Omaha. Hope to see you there. Watch our blog for details and sessions as they’re finalized.
